Neil Carnegie, founding partner of Carnegie Fund Services S.A., has a wide international experience in the securities, derivative and banking industries. He worked for Merrill Lynch in both Zurich and Geneva in the brokerage operations area. He then joined Bear Stearns, then Banque Gutzwiller, Kurz, Bungener S.A. in Geneva, progressively working in trading, brokerage and investment banking. Thereafter, he was responsible for the Treasury and Financial Market department of the Banque Cantonale de Genève. He entered the fund industry as a member of the Swissca Fund Management Company investment committee in 1992. In 2001, he formed Carnegie & Cie S.A., a consulting firm that was mandated to establish the London-based Swisscanto Funds Centre, a third-party funds platform for the Swiss Cantonal banks. Mr. Carnegie has a broad experience and a practical understanding of banking and the Swiss fund industry. He is a graduate of the Swiss Banking School of the University of Zurich.
Jérôme Neri partner of Carnegie Fund Services S.A., joined the company in April 2007 after several years in banking and law, with a strong focus on the international investment fund industry. He had worked for Ferrier Lullin & Cie SA as the Asset Management's legal counsel, where he drafted and negotiated private placement and distribution contracts and acquired a sound knowledge of the fund industry. He then joined BNP Paribas (Suisse) S.A. as the financial products and services department's legal counsel. He was responsible for the Swiss representation of the BNP Paribas Group, Parvest funds. He acquired a sound practical experience in the areas of fund registration with the Swiss Federal Banking Commission and in the establishment of a distribution network in Switzerland. Mr. Neri is an attorney-at-law (Geneva Bar) and holds an LL.M degree of Duke University, North Carolina, United States.
Eric Rothacher, founding shareholder of Carnegie Fund Services S.A., has many years of experience in the Swiss banking industry. He has been active in asset management and the fund industry. During his years at Robeco Bank (Suisse) S.A., Geneva and Banque Cantonale Vaudoise in Lausanne, he became well versed in the legal framework and the specialities for the registration of new funds with the Swiss Federal Banking Commission. Mr. Rothacher has a sound knowledge of the fund distribution network in Switzerland. Most recently, he has actively participated in the establishment of the Swisscanto Funds Centre in London. His excellent contacts with a great number of fund distributors were an important element in the success of the firm. He has a broad experience and a practical understanding of banking and the Swiss fund industry. Mr. Rothacher holds a degree in economics from HEC at Lausanne University. He was a board member of the Swiss Financial Analysts Association.
Heinz Gloor joined Carnegie in March 2012 to manage the Zurich office. He is a graduate in Economics, major in banking, from the University of Zurich, Heinz Gloor speaks eight languages, including Russian. His career took him to Credit Suisse, then to Dresdner Bank (Suisse), before he was hired by Banque Générale du Luxembourg (Suisse), then by Bayerische Landesbank (Suisse), which put him in charge of its Finance Department. In 1991, Heinz Gloor joined the Swiss Federal Banking Commission in its Authorizations Department. He was to remain with it for ten years before being appointed Head, Legal & Compliance at Deutsche Asset Management Schweiz. Two years later he was asked to return to the Swiss Federal Banking Commission and was appointed head of Investment funds special operations department. Since 2008, Heinz Gloor had been Managing Partner and Head, Legal & Compliance of ACOLIN Fund Services in Zurich.
Jacques Pitschi joined Carnegie Fund Services S.A. in February 2011. He looks back on more than 40 years of professional experience in the Swiss banking industry. From 1971 to 1998, Jacques was Head of trading at Banque Edouard Constant S.A. (formerly Banque Scandinave en Suisse) and from 1998 to 2011, successively Head of Trading and Head of Fund Administration at Banque Piguet & Cie SA (the private banking subsidiary of the Banque Cantonale Vaudoise Group). From 1990 to 1999, he was a member of the regional committee for Switzerland and Liechtenstein of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA). Jacques holds a Swiss federal banking diploma.
Siana Bonev joined our company in May 2009. She obtained her Bachelor of Law Degree in 2006 from the University of Fribourg and gained her Master's in Economic Law from the University of Basle in 2007. After her diploma Miss Bonev worked as a law clerk at the court of justice in Laufenburg in the canton of Aargau. Miss Bonev speaks German, English, French, Italian and Russian.
Catrina Dermont joined our company in May 2011. She holds a Master in Law and Economics from the University of St. Gallen (M.A. HSG in Law and Economics) and is an attorney-at-law (St. Gallen bar). Catrina Dermont worked in a law firm, a Swiss bank and at several university institutes. She speaks German, English, Spanish and French.
Raphaël Hardmeyer joined our company in March 2011. He holds a Master Degree in Law from the University of Lausanne with a specialisation in business law. In the course of his studies, Raphaël gained practical experience as an intern with several law firms in Lausanne and Zurich. Raphaël is fluent in French, German and English.
Chirine Hartmann joined our company in August 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Certificate of Transnational Law and a Master of Laws in International and European Law from the University of Geneva. She speaks French and English and is fully bilingual. She works in those two languages.
Danielle Bettens is responsible for the company's accounts. She started her career with Banque BNP Paribas in Geneva in the investment fund department. From there, she joined the accounting department of an investment company in Geneva. Mrs. Bettens joined the firm in October 2003 after a long career in accounting. She holds a Swiss Federal diploma in commerce.
Raffaela Carraturo joined our team in October 2010. She worked for Credit Suisse Group for 20 years where she specialised in the management of trusts and estates. Mrs. Carraturo is in charge of billing and administrative support for the investment fund companies represented by Carnegie Fund Services SA. Her working languages are French, English and Italian.
Christine Bosshart Le Hunsec joined our team in February 2011. Before that, she worked for 15 years at Credit Suisse Trust SA in the management of trusts and estates. At Carnegie Fund Services SA, Christine is in charge of administrative support for investment fund companies and distributors. Her working languages are French, English and German.
Claudia Mozaffari holds a Master's Degree in Translation and Terminology from Geneva University in the languages German, English and French and has 20 years of experience in the field of financial translation. Ms Mozaffari started her professional career in 1989 at the International Finance & Commodities Institute in Carouge where she was in charge of the German translation of the Institute's computer-based training programs for the European derivatives exchanges. In 1991 she founded the Geneva-based company Axone Services & Développement SA and set up its translation department specializing in Finance. After leaving Axone for family reasons, in 2003 Ms Mozaffari worked as a free-lance translator. In 2006 she took a position as in-house translator at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise in Lausanne. She joined Carnegie Fund Services SA in September 2009 to provide the firm's customers with professional translation services.
Naira Coacci holds a Master's in translation from the University of Geneva. She translates from English, Italian and Spanish into French. Before joining Carnegie Fund Services S.A. in October 2011, Naira worked for a translation agency, CLS Communication, where she managed the translation orders from the Geneva private bank Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie as an external consultant. Prior to that, Naira was a translator for the Geneva private bank Pictet & Cie, where she developed her skills in specialised financial translation.
Martina Novotny holds a Master's Degree in Translation from the University of Geneva with a specialisation in legal and economic translation from English and French into German. She joined the in-house translation team of Carnegie Fund Services S.A. in April 2012. Her previous work experience includes a 12-months traineeship with various translation services of the Swiss Confederation in Berne.
